pigs and geese and ducks better scurry... to make a card in a hurry! well, not that much of a hurry, you have untill midnight on 7-17. but hoooooooooo doagie, it's another caardvarks challenge and it's time to get down...

...down on the farm, that is!

yes, card-makers, this time the assignment is to make a card with a farm theme for a shot at the big prize! make it, photo it, and link it to the appropriate post and your lovely creations will go into the gallery with the fabulous homegrown, country-style work of the design team!

as a matter of fact, here's my card, now:

(far side cartoon by gary larson; patterned paper: carolee's creations; glossy black cardstock: ranger; ribbon: michaels; sticker: american greetings; rub-ons: american crafts, k&co)

remember, folks:

you HERD it here, first!!! :)

  1. Hellooooo there,

    What a cute card!
I just love the theme nad I really think your work looks so nice!
    Quite some humor, also!
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for your sweet comment on my blog,

    bye, bye, Jen.

  2. Freaky conincidence #1043 - LOVE the far side....great card!!! I don't think I can do this one...don't have any farm things :(
might have to try and get inventive...that farm animal ribbon is pretty cute!

  3. Far side ROCKS. And so does your card...
There is none funnier than Gary, other than you ;)

  4. I've got a few cow stamps, but they were some of my first (regretable?) purchases. I've been thinking about the challenge...I like a challenge :) It may be interesting, if I come up with something, to see if Greenberry's customers buy cow cards!

BTW, I have lots of cow stuff in my kitchen :) Hot plates, tray, cookie jar, tea pot...

  5. `Holy Cow`...lolThis is gorgeous Lauren:)x
