third time's the charm!

...now that's just WRONG...
because clearly the first two becky fleck sketches for CAARDVARKS' CardMaps Week were already pretty darn charming! ...but then again...this one is, as well:

and my card is not too shabby, i feel:

(basic grey patterened papers, doodlebug sparkly white glitter paper, hambly snowflake transparency...you can only *vaguely* see the glitteryness & the transparency in the pic, but trust me, irl, it looks goooood...sei fuzzy iron-on [ironed on to SCRAP i hasten to say...my heart has been broken by recalcitrant iron-ons too many times, my friends!] colorbox ink, dmc embroidery floss--clearly i am still in the grips of the "hand-sewing bug", eh?!)

...and certainly the design team's work is...as always...exemplary!

perhaps we should change the saying to "third time's ALSO the charm"? yeah, that's better. can someone call barlett's familiar quotations and let 'em know we've revised that??! :)

  1. This is gorgeous. I can't imagine how time consuming that hand stitching must be. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

I've just spent a happy half-hour checking out your fellow designers blogs over at Caardvarks, and wow, what a talented team you Caardvarkeers are!
