the card that time forgot!

ok, it wasn't time who forgot so much as *me*!
but it's from quite a while ago, and thus i've decided to hold TIME partially responsible! :)

(vintage: slide mount (thanks debb!) ledger paper & sheet music; patterned paper: scenic route leaves, crafty secrets crown; cardstock scallops: a bit of packaging from fancy pants chipboard; glittery transparency frame: k&co (thanks, jolene!) tag: sei; chipboard bird & hearts: sassafras lass; bling frame: heidi swapp; rub-ons: polar bear press; other: colorbox inks, 3m foam tape)

as you know, i am photographically challenged at the best of times and waaaaaaay worse when it comes to taking pics of anything reflective--such as a transparency--so you will just have to trust me when i tell you this card was actually quite a bit cooler in real life!

  2. I was looking at your beautiful work and as I scrolled downwith the mouse I looked up and it was like stereovision! Because directly above where the laptop lives is that exact card!

"HANG ON!" I thought. "That's MY card. My card is famous!"

I would like all who read this to know that the cart shown above is mine. It lives on top of the hill here and I'm NOT giving it back!

  3. 'the carD' shown above, not 'the carT'. There is no 'carT' shown above on this particular post of this blog. The future I cannot predict because you know, with Lauren ANYTHING may happen!!!

  4. I have been fortunate enough to know first-hand that your real life cards are even cooler than your photos. But even so, your blog photos of your cards are VERY cool, Miz Lauren :)

  7. I have to agree that your cards are waaaayyyyy cooler IRL than what we see on the blog....but I think that it's not so much your photography skills, but just a general thing....as in all cards are much better in person than a picture on the computer screen can ever show.
That said, this card is pretty darn awesome on screen so I can completely understand why Mrs Trashy doesn't want to give it back!!! I wouldn't ever give back any of my fabbo Lauren creations either :)
