hark?!

yes, hark! as in, "hark the herald angels sing" by which i mean, this fortnight at ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ we are making cards that incorporate music notes, sheet music or instruments. here's what i made:

stickers and sentiment: doodlebug design; patterned paper: lawn fawn, crate, bo bunny + some bright white sheet music from my stash; heart dies: nestabilities by spellbinders; ink: colorbox; adhesives: elmers brand gluetape, 3m foam tape, sewing machine

as you can see, i went with the sheet music option, in the form of a die cut heart which holds my adorable doodlebug xmas stickers. my sentiment is a bonus song title, snipped from a journal card. lots of traditional bright red and green here, finished off with some white machine stitching accents.

    What a fun card, Lauren! I love the sheet music visible through the heart and your little car driven by Santa ~ much more modern than that rusty old sleigh and, I mean, after all those reindeer are getting up there in age!! Hugs, Darnell
