It's my last official weekly post on The Ink Pad Blog... for now, that is. Because, of course, the online store will remain open and I'm sure we'll be posting samples and other fun stuff from time to time. But this seemed like a great time to celebrate how much we love NYC and we also love (and plan to keep in-stock!) the exclusive line of city-themed stamps and stencils Michelle Ward designed for The Ink Pad!

Hexies + Doodles +Thanks
Michelle Ward's Stamps and Stencils designed exclusively for The Ink Pad have a great NYC vibe, but they don't necessarily need to be used only for New York themed cards and layouts. For example, the Large Hex Pattern Stencil makes a fantastic pattern that works for any occasion; and Michelle's Dance Line Stamp Set has some fabulous art deco detailing as well as the two beautiful Dance Line silhouettes AND two very useful sentiments, as well. This card is on The Ink Pad Blog today, I hope you'll head over there and read all about it!

How Many NYC Taxis...
...can you fit into one blog post? If the taxis are The Ink Pad's adorable Michelle Ward Taxi Stamp, the answer is SIX! The cards in question also use elements from Michelle's Skyline, Manhole Hex and Manhattan Map cling stamp sets; against a dramatic background of Distress Oxide Ink Blends.

Collaged Houses with StencilGirl® Stencils
I'm thrilled to be a guest on the StencilGirl® Talk Blog today, upcycling some funky nested papier mache houses my mom found when cleaning out her attic. I used these StencilGirl® Stencil designs:
Which each had twenty (20!) planes/panels on which to work; resulting in a whole lot of stenciled parts that looked a bit like this:
But if you want to see the finished trio, you're going to have to hop over to the StencilGirl® Talk Blog today... it's worth the trip though, I promise! ♥

Scribble Stick Mandala Monday
In the interests of full disclosure, I should mention that at the moment, The Ink Pad does not currently have any Scribble Sticks in stock. They're on order from Ranger, all three sets, including the third one which contains the metallic colors Dina used in the demo. On the plus side, at the moment, anything you buy from TIP that's backordered, will ship to you for free!
