Yeti or Not?

Apologies for a slightly misleading title, because this fortnight at Jingle Belles the challenge is actually called "Text Me" for which we'd like to see (can you guess?) holiday cards that celebrate text. Which might mean prominently using letter stickers, dictionary pages, texty patterned paper, or just creating a card where the sentiment is the star. Here's my card, and you'll see where the yetis come in:

Ok so, clearly I have made my punny sentiment and gigantic alphabet stickers the stars of the show, but I also wanted a text-centric patterned paper with an old-school typewriter font on a white background. Yes, I realize that's VERY specific, which might be the reason I discovered I didn't have such a thing. So I made my own. See?

Yep, I got our my trusty Royal and typed, "yeti or not" over and over (and over and over!) until I filled a 4x6" area of white cardstock, which I then layered with snowy hills and populated with adorable Lawn Fawn yetis. I wanted to include some Christmas trees too, and started with minty green ones; but they just sort of faded into the sentiment, so instead I went with pink ones. (Like ya do, lol...) A few Eyelet Outlet Snowflake Brads complete the scene.

Hop over to Jingle Belles to see Stephanie's fabulous TEXT-y card and start planning what you'll link up with us this fortnight! ♥
