coffee tawk :)

this week at shopping our stash it's all about our "caffeine fix" so we'd like to see your best coffee or tea themed projects!

"literary caffeine-ations" stamp set by becca cruger for STAMPlorations; patterned paper: amy tangerine/american crafts; crate paper, recollections + scraps of glossy white cardstock for the lid and faux polaroid; flair + felt dimensional sticker: american crafts; ink: stewart superior india ink; adhesives: elmers brand gluetape, 3m foam tape

i've been really into free-form paper piecing lately, so i built a takeaway coffee cup using a clipart image as a template, some super-fun papers and a really cool (really ollllllllllllld!) dimensional felt element for the center bit. luckily i had the *perfect* stamp set for the sentiment, "literary caffeine-ations" from STAMPlorations designed by my lovely blogging friend becca cruger. check it out:

i used the current (awesome!) retro sketch (#186) though admittedly i've played around with the proportions in a big big way:

the other SOS designers have some pretty fabulous projects to show you as well, darlings... why not hop over and check those out, then come play along, won't you?! ♥

  1. Squeeeeee! I LOVE it! You always have the coolest elements on your cards! I just want to touch that crocheted flower. ooo la la! And that stamp set - somebody really cool must have made those. ;) Thank you, my friend!

  2. LOVE IT! I don't 'do' coffee at all so am pretending there's a nice cup of beer in that holder!!!! The flower is a special touch to an already pretty, pretty card.

  3. Wait ... you STAMPED?! YAY! I do love how you put all this stuff together and it just looks right. Great sentiment set, too!

  4. Becca's stamp set is awesome! Love that felt flower! Fab take on the challenge!!

  5. You have pieced together such fun elements into a sweet heartwarming card. Nice!

  6. What a super fun card! Love your collage grouping, and that stamp set IS perfect for our challenge! Awesome!

  7. I love all the elements on your card - especially the felt element, made me want to reach out and touch. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, greatly appreciated. Cx
