With two months of small-format, index card art on the horizon after ICAD starts on June first , there's time for one more BIG collage in my Dina Wakley MEdia Ledger Journal from Ranger. With pages just under 7.5 x 12" there's room for LOTS of vintage goodies like sheet music, part of an old map, S&H Green Stamps, glossy calendar page flowers, and phonebook paper; as well as some of my favorite Dina Wakley Collage Papers.

Wildflower Collage
A Clean Up Collage for a dreary (but not yet raining) Saturday, consisting of torn scraps of vintage map, index and sheet music; lots of S&H Greenstamps; and a framed transparency loaded with watercolored wildflower diecuts and Eyelet Outlet Bling (it's on clearance!) in my 6 x 6" square Dina Wakley Kraft Journal from Ranger.

Another Button Collage
It turns out that hand-sewing buttons onto vintage paper collages is somewhat addictive. But luckily I have A LOT more buttons (...and a lot more vintage paper for that matter...) so I can't really see a downside.
I hope your weekend is off to a good start and that before it's over, you'll find a little time to indulge in whatever crafty activity you feel compulsively drawn to right now! ♥

Collage + Buttons
I had a craving to make a collage with a cascade of buttons... so I made one. Yes, I placed each button individually, used a paper-piercer to poke the holes, and sewed them on... one by one... with embroidery floss. Which seems tedious, but was actually quite relaxing. (But yes, I'm kinda weird, so maybe it would be tedious for anyone else, lol.) I hope that today you'll find time to make or do something YOU have been craving!
Unrelated PS: This morning a friend sent me an article from @billy_penn revealing there will be NO Zitner's Butter Krak Eggs this Easter. A sad blow to all chocolate- and coconut-loving folks born and raised in the Philadelphia area. I'm gonna need a little time to walk this off...

A Random Collage
Sometimes you just have to sit and cut up or tear pretty/interesting vintage papers and stamps and things, then quite randomly glue them together. If this activity happens to take place on a snow-free weekend, in the company of a fun artist friend like @futureperfect321 and you get to eat lots of yummy Thai food before or afterwards, so much the better!
On a side note, I was hoping to participate in #februllage2026 and I'm adoring all of the amazing creations people are posting to that thread. Maybe I'll get to jump in later this month...

Did She Say, "Collage Box"?
Yes. Yes, I did. What IS a collage box? It's a gift box that instead of being temporarily covered in wrapping paper, gets its top and bottom permanently covered in vintage paper; in this case a large scale map of Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Eastern Pennsylvania* circa 1975.
