it's the sad story of my papercrafting life: the cooler & more unusual of a project i make, generally speaking, the harder time i have trying to photograph it! and anything 3-D (seemingly... for me...) is just totally impossible! so if you'll all just write in with your addresses, i will be happy to come round to your homes and SHOW YOU this cute set of "lovebirds" in person, ok? :)
failing that, i suppose you could just hop over to the pixie blog, where the (low) quality of my photos is inversly proportionate to the (high) quantity of them!
but i cannot help going slightly overboard...or in this case overBIRD* when all of the ingredients used to make 'em came from the january pixie dust kit, MY FUNKY VALENTINE!
and they really are the cuuuuuutest little birds, honestly! ♥♥♥
*ok, sorry...worst pun EVER...but it put the photos into proportion, now didn't it, lol??!?!)
you're always too cute, lauren! i love your 3d project! it's adorable! i would love for you to visit me, hee hee...except you would have to close your eyes and not look at my crafty mess ;p'.
ReplyDeletei love your birdies, the stitching is fabulous! how did you make them? i have to go visit the pixie blog! love that birdcage! thanks for sharing and hope you have a wonderful weekend! *hugs* steph :)
Yes, they are, the cutest pair!!!!
ReplyDeletesuch a gorgeous project! and i think the pic is pretty good too!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so you have my address already, does that count? You can bring your birds and bird cage and see my new craft room! Well, since that "s" word has made getting around a little inconvenient, you could see pics of my new craft room on my blog (posted yesterday before my Jingle Belles ornament card).
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautifully, and I actually don't think you went overBIRD at all (though overboard in a completely Laureny way is a good thing!) I actually think you mastered simply elegant, my dear :)
I'll put the kettle on ....
ReplyDeleteStunning project ... but I do know what you mean about photographing certain things ... It's a bummer! Off to PDP now ... but what time should I expect you??
{{clapping my hands}} Lauren's coming to my House...Lauren's coming to my House!!!
ReplyDeleteDUDETTE...this is unbelievable...
I love you Lauren! Your posts always manage to make me smile and say awwwww. I love your birds (and your pun)! This would look so cute as a center piece on my dining room table......just sayin :D
ReplyDeletethis is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteOK when you leave Amy's place just head south about 12 hours and you will be at my home ;)
Dont be too hard on yourself; I know what you mean...i have the same.. Although I don't live in your neighbourhood you're welcome.... I'll serve you dinner and breakfast and there is a guestroom ready for you :)
ReplyDeleteOh my I think I'm a bit off topic:)
But the birds and the cage and in fact your whole project is to die for; I love it!
Totally adorable project! I popped over to PDP to see your other photos too! :D
ReplyDeleteThey are absolutely, amazingly gorgeous!!! I'd love to have that on my wall :) Beautiful. x
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. Can't wait to see them in person.
ReplyDelete(We don't have any snow or ice right now, so it's a good time to come to VB.)
This is such a pretty piece. You've been making such cool projects lately. You must be working like a fiend. Love this one. Its so pretty. The pictures are gorgeous. I bet the piece in person is even more amazing.
ReplyDeleteI remember this post!!! (Surprised I didn't comment the first time around.) We really do have the same shopping list, don't we?! :)
