smashing orangey card*

it's been so long since i made a non-christmas card, i think i kind of forgot how to do it for a minute there. eventually it came back to me, though. see??!

(patterned paper: IOD; cardstock: core'dinations; journalling card: teresa collins; chipboard tag: rhonna farrer; gem flourish, florals & lace: prima; stick-on ribbon: amanda blu; epoxy stickers & decoupage butterflies: michaels; rub-on: american crafts; other: colorbox inks, foam tape)

actually, this was the second post-xmas card i made; the first is for the new CAARDVARKS challenge which starts on thursday. yeah, i know, usually the 'varks rock the 5th and the 20th ofthe month...but since we have a very special event, we chose a very special date: january 1, 2009! so c'mon back and check it out!!!

*does anyone else love jaffa cakes as much as i do??! YUM!

  2. Wow!!!
There is so much fun and excitement in this one :)
My favourite colour is orange, which means I LOVE the oranginess of it, but I also love those fancy swirlies...I'm so bad at buying stuff like that. I'm way too cheap. And then I need the *perfect* place to put it, so it would never get used. It would just stay looking pretty in the package. YAY to you for using such pretty stuff!!

  3. I have picked up those epoxy stickers from Michael's soooooo many times, but always put them back. You always seem to know exactly what to do with your embellies!
