...HOME for the holidays...

it's time for a brand new challenge at ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ and it's a little bit hard to figure out from the title, "oh little TOWN of bethlehem" so bear with me. what we'd actually like to see this fortnight is cards that have a building of some kind on them! it can be a cabin, a church, a cityscape, santa's castle at the north pole, a gingerbread house, any kind of structure will work. sound like fun? i thought so, too! here's what i made:

patterned paper: photo play, kaisercraft, prima, recollections + scraps of vintage sheet music and best creation white glitter paper for the snow; tapes: little b; label die: tim holtz/sizzix; ink: prima; adhesives: elmers brand gluetape, 3m foam tpae, sewing machine

i used this impression obsession small cabin die in a class at paper anthology last fall, and i've been using it ever since. it's got A LOT of tiny pieces... but then the dies with the most detail are the ones that look the most interesting on a card, don't you think? this time i've made a little wintery landscape on a label-shape to hold my sweet, snow-covered cabin, then mounted the whole thing on a neutral background of paper and washi tape. easy, peasy!

stephanie also has a very cool card to show you, i hope you'll click over to ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ and check that out right now, darlings!
