believe it or not, i do have a POINT with all of this, because in honor of national chicken month-- (but, alas, independently from the national chicken council)-- this week at shopping our stash we are looking for projects which feature a BIRD... it doesn't necessarily have to be a chicken, but it can be if you want, and in fact many of my fellow dt members have made AWESOME chicken-based projects which i know you'll enjoy! sadly, i didn't manage to pull off such a fowl-featuring coup, but my card does have two lovely little birdies:
i used the latest sketch from stuck on you sketches, which i think you'll agree is rather fab:
and now why not head on over to SOS to see the gorgeous projects? but the next time you're feeling hungry, remember to...
(you're welcome, darlings!) :) :) :)
Wow, you've really researched Chicken Month! HAHAHAHA! I LOVE your take on that sketch, too. And you make me want to sew on my cards more. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteEat chicken...Love it.
ReplyDeleteYour card is WOW...so gorgeous!
I can never 'hear' "eat chicken" without thinking of cows holding a sign ;) I happen to love those little birdies! The clipboard & banner are perfect - and that big orange bloom! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next year the national chicken council would like to sponsor us and we can have some kind of chicken related prize pack!!??!!
ReplyDeleteLOL
Fab take on the sketch - love the pretty soft colours and all the embellies!!
Somehow I was really hoping you'd go the chicken route ... and was strangely disappointment when you didn't :) FYI your link at SOS is broken
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, really! I knew you would make something pretty and soft. Love it!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Chana
You wouldn't be CHICKEN now, would ya? :D) :D)
I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.
yep I agree, fab indeed, and so is your card. Thanks for joining us at SOUS.x
