i'm dreaming of a ♥PINK♥ christmas!

if you've played along with us at ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ in the last two years, then i'm sure you already know what the first prompt of october is going to be, right? even if you haven't played, i bet the title of this post has given you a pretty good idea, hasn't it? yepper, it's time to ♥THINK PINK♥ in honor of breast cancer awareness month, and thus we are making holiday cards which feature that fabulously festive color! something stephanie and i have done each year, and are doing again for 2013, is to donate $2 each to the susan g. komen foundation for every card that gets linked up, thus this is the one week of the year that we shamelessly plead with you to come along and make a ♥PINK♥ holiday card... or better yet, cards, plural... with us!!!

you don't have to make a card that's ALL pink, of course. it just needs to be a visible element somewhere in your design. on the other hand, you can make a card that's all pink if you want to... and, as usual, i wanted to, lol!!! :) :) :)

i had already trimmed down the square of fancy pants paper earlier in the year for something else, but then abandoned it to the scrap file for "later use"... a fact i was pretty happy about since, after i found it, this card pretty much made itself! i just added a few "extra" embellies et voila!
