because this sort of thing just kept happening and eventually lovely husband jeff got tired of rushing home to cut me free!
i hope your day is going a bit more smoothly than this kitteh's... or her human's for that matter! :) remember, if you do go bungee jumping, be sure to take a spotter, or at least a camera!

Wait! I think that's my cat...
OMG, a co-worker had this happen! Their cat had kittens, and they kept the kittens around for a while. One day he heard a WHOOOSH - the sound of the blinds being suddenly pulled all the way up to the top of the window. He looked up to see a kitten hanging in the cord.
Kitteh was okay, but they started looping the cord waaaaay up around a high slat so the kittens couldn't get to them. I have done the same thing ever since.
