We're cruising into Fourth of July weekend, so it only seems right to celebrate the Stars and/or Stripes at Jingle Belles this fortnight. Don't worry, it's easier than you may think at first: you can choose one or the other.. they needn't be red, white or blue... and something as simple as striped washi tape or star-shaped brads will qualify. I went whole hog with a little bit of EVERYTHING lol!
My card features four different striped washi tapes, and two tapes with stars; as well as two starry tapes and a trio of (sadly out of print) Eyelet Outlet star-shape christmas cookies. I've used graph paper as my background very deliberately, because it makes lining up tapes (or paper strips, or stamps) so easy! The sentiment is an older Doodlebug journal card, trimmed down a bit to fit the space.
