here is my card:
(patterned paper: american crafts, crafty secrets, basic grey; cardstock: bazzill; stamps: hero arts all occasion sentiments; chipboard buttons: michaels $-spot; inks: colorbox; pens: zig & sharpie; adhesives: tombow mono adhesive runner, uhu gluestick, 3m foam tape)
my favorite part of this is the "grass" composed of curvy stamped bits, the idea for which i stole from this card by the amazing stef from the hero arts challenge! it took quite a while to line up all the individual sentiments to fit the correct size and shape needed for my "hills"... (not difficult, just "fiddly") ...but i felt like it was TOTALLY worth it even before i got a coveted, "that looks *COOL*!!!" from lovely husband jeff!
be sure to head on over to CAARDVARKS for complete details on the challenge (& prize!!!) and to see the amazing forest of terrific tree cards from the design team!
Now THAT, my dear, is just plain DIVIIIINE!!!
ReplyDeleteOooo! I can't wait to show pr.C-W this one. We are in the middle of the Bark festival(as in trees not puppies, we are not celebrating puppies here while we are still be woken up in the night) here on the hill.
ReplyDeleteThat definitely looks COOL & fabulous, gorgeous and stunning :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea for this challenge...especially since my new favourite stamp set is SU's Trendy Trees and the matching Funky Forest Wheel. I might just have to whip up something for this one tonight, seeing as there's nothing on TV anyway :) I want to be sure to get it done before the movers take away all my toys :)

ReplyDeleteI saw your card at the 'Varks earlier and I found myself scrolling and asking, "Where is Lauren's card? Where is Lauren's card?" Obviously they tried to save the best for the middle-end :)
