(digital bird & branch images (printed on vintage sheet music adhered to index stock): feathered friends kit, gina cunningham, tyggereye art; vintage ledger paper; rub-ons: autumn leaves & making memories; inks: ranger, colorbox, stewart superior & tombow markers; stamps: tim holtz, sassafras, stampin' up, autumn leaves; adhesive: uhu gluestick; other: gesso, sewing machine)
ok, whether or not we agree this is beautiful to look at...i had a blast adding layer after layer of gesso, ink, markers, and a million rubber stamps before sewing on top and finally adding a little advice to myself via rub-on alphabets. so to me, this page is definitely beautiful AND i feel a lot better now. thanks, g! ♥♥♥

ReplyDeleteI think this is one of your most beautiful pages EVER. I love it! I also always love your prompt responses. You are the perfect combo of wise, clever, and funny. Oh! I just had an epiphany! You are the Michael Westin of paper crafting...except you are better looking, so add in a little Daniel Craig...
ReplyDeleteOh, my darling Lauren!
ReplyDeleteI was so hoping that things were looking up for you (and LHJ) - ok, especially for him! :)
Hopefully that's all you had to hide. Keepin my fingys crossed for you two!
On the other hand, if this is the result, maybe you should have *more* things to hide! :) I love how it came out - and I think it's *fab* to look at.
(and yes, I had to go back and take out some exclamation points - I am apparently in an exclamatory mood!) :D
Beautiful page and love the promt. Think I have to try the printing on vintage paper... Looks fantastic..
