it's a christmas miracle!!!
ok, maybe not *quite*...but certainly it is a rare event for me to sit down in front of the tv early enough on a monday evening to start and finish a card. (woohoo!) of course, it didn't hurt that i had a pretty clear idea of what i wanted to make, and luckily i also had this week's brilliant kazan sketch to assist me in placing my elements, so it was clear sailing all the way. to quote those fab veteran sleuth/card-makers, the A-team, "i love it when a plan comes together!" :)
ok, so here's the sketch:
and here's my card:
(kraft cardstock: hobby lobby (thanks, stef!); yellow cardstock: core'dinations; patterned paper: american crafts; alphabet stamps: making memories; pen: copic outliner; needlepoint yarn: paternayan persian; adhesives: tombow mono runner, 3m foam tape & doublestick tape)
i'm sending this to a friend who's a bit poorly at the moment, but if it's not particularly sunny where *YOU* are right now, do keep a few rays for yourself!!! ♥
OMGoodness...whatta treat for us :) Such a fun, bright and happy card sista...I love it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this card! and how sweet of you to add this at the end of your post:
